From a very young age, I was a confident little girl - the oldest daughter in my entire family. My grandma still calls me “Sunshine” to this day because she says my smile, energy, and joy could light up any room. But as I got older, that light within me slowly started to fade.
By the age of 8, I was being heavily bullied for my weight and struggled to fit in or make friends at school. Over the years, I battled depression and anxiety that left me wondering, “there has to be more to life than this.”
Later, I developed severe cystic acne that made me ashamed of my appearance and afraid to even leave the house. In high school, I developed an eating disorder and struggled deeply with my body image, criticizing everything about myself - what I wore, what I ate, even the way I spoke to myself internally. I was incredibly hard on myself for years.
Then one day, I came across a quote that completely shifted my perspective on pain:
“I'm going to show you pain, then you're going to help other people who are in the same pain because you fully understand it." — God
I used to constantly feel isolated, left out & alone.

And suddenly, everything clicked. I realized that every battle I had faced… the depression, anxiety, loneliness, insecurity, self-hatred, feeling lost, questioning if I was enough, wasn’t meaningless. The very things that once made me feel broken would one day *become the reason another girl felt less alone.*
I created this because I never want another girl to feel like she has to suffer silently. I know what it feels like to be “the strong one.” The happy one. The positive one. The girl everyone assumes is okay while privately carrying pain no one sees.
